LASER CUTTING
LASER CUTTING is a technology in which a laser is usLed to vaporise materials and provide a cutting edge. When cutting mild steel, the heat of the laser beam is enough to start a typical “oxy-fuel” burning process, and the laser cutting gas will be pure oxygen, just like an oxy-fuel torch. When cutting stainless steel or aluminum, the laser beam simply melts the material, and high pressure nitrogen is used to blow the molten metal out of the kerf. OXY-FUEL CUTTING
OXY-FUEL CUTTING is a thermal cutting process in which oxygen and fuel gas is used to cutting through materials. Oxyfuel process is most widely used in industries for thermal cutting process as it can easily cut from a thickness of 0.5mm to 0.250mm. GAS PRODUCT
For gas welding and cutting, the core equipment uses oxygen and a fuel gas like acetylene, stored in separate high-pressure cylinders and mounted on a cart for mobility. Pressure regulators on each cylinder control the gas flow into color-coded hoses, with safety flashback arrestors preventing flame from entering the cylinders. A handheld torch mixes the gases and is fitted with different tips for specific tasks, such as a welding tip for joining metal or a cutting tip with an extra oxygen lever for slicing through thick steel. Supporting accessories include strikers for ignition, filler rods for welding, clamps for holding workpieces, and specialized personal protective equipment (PPE), like tinted goggles, gloves, and flame-resistant clothing, to ensure safety.
